the amps are actually right under the convertible top. I did move mine just a bit, but it actually doesn't save you much because of the top motor. In retrospect, it wasn't worth it. And the fuel lines are right under there. I was lucky i didn't pierce one.
ok I think I'll buy it from you...I am already going to remove the mach system and buy a 4 channel amp for my speakers...because right now I'm running aftermarket speakers on the mach system (I know I know, don't do that...but I'm broke so w/e lol)
hell even if u wanted a smaller box 30$ for those subs is a good price and im sure shipping would go down if box wasent wanted but hell smaller than 1cf is getting pretty damn small.
You cant get a road gear 10' for 15$.

woah woah woah!!! sorry for confusion. This is just for THE BOX. no subs. phew. sorry about that!!! that would be a hell of a steal!!! 2 11O's for $30!
I think so....double check. Measure the middle, and the sides of where the back of the trunk meets the trunk lid. I'm pretty sure i got something like 13.5 or 14.
It's a PITA to get my box in and out of the trunk, and it's got 2 10" subs in it - I'll have to measure to get the exact specs, but it goes from the trunk floor (spare tire cover board) to the roof, and has about a 1/2" or 1/4" of clearance, height-wise. I've got a 2004 GT Vert, w/Mach (well, it *used* to have Mach 460 audio ;) )
Yeah, that's my reasoning too ... there's no way I'm getting to my spare. Now, if I fab separate boxes out of fiberglass to go on each side of the trunk, then that's a different story :D
