Exactly, not to mention I don't have to worry about tcs when I stomp on the gas and light the tires up :)

if you plan on getting aftermarket appearance stuff or performance i wouldnt. grill, wheels, and sways are the only things you get over the stock v6. and the TC/ABS. but im pretty sure you can get those w/o the PP.

+1 Although the PP is nice, there is a pretty good-sized amount of aftermarket stuff that you could get that'll compliment your stang as opposed to paying extra for the PP and removing it later...

I like the Pony package and it's the cheapest way to get 17" wheels, rear swaybar, rear spoiler, stripes and a different grille.  But I didn't get it because I would have ended up taking most of it off.

If you don't plan on modding your mustang I highly recommend the Pony Package.

^^ haha... i would have already replaced all of those if i had gotten the PP... the only thing you cant get cheaper would be the wheels. my spoiler delete was free (i dont like spoilers) grille was 210, stripes was a free mod (i hate the rocker stripes), sways were 130 for GT takeoffs (bigger than PP) the only thing i cant fit under that umbrella was my wheels... they cost more than double the value of the pp... but that was for wide 20's and extreme summer performance tires... so i figure i made out pretty good...
