Hello,

I have a 1993 stock GT and am looking to invest in some 17x8 Centerline Scorpions to replace the OEM ponies that are on now.

I want to avoid if I can hammering in the wells and adjusting/removing my quads in the back, what is a safe backspacing to go with? 5.5"?

As of now my fox is stock ride height, but I have a set of Eibach springs which proclaim 1.7" drop in front and 1.5" in the back. I am putting the springs on before I order the rims and with the stock wheels off see just how much space I am to work with. I'm just here hoping someone has crossed this bridge before myself and can add some much appreciated advice.

I have researched the forum and though it has proven most helpful I am still unable to find a definite answer to my question.

Thanks in advance!

Sean
