Remember Wong & Owens on SNL? They were ex porn stars trying to go legit. In the end thier catch phrase was "porn, its all we know" Thats how it is with me and the Coast Guard, Ive been here my entire adult life, 26 years as of July 1st.
Today was one of those days.
I had a long talk with the misses tonight. Im tired of my job, we dont care for Virginia. Tomorrow Im turning in my retirement letter for 1 Sep. We are loading up the U-Haul with all our stuff, weiner dogs, towing the Mustang, driving the Taurus, and moving to Tucson.
I have no idea what a sailor is going to do in the desert for a job, it doesnt matter, McDonalds needs good people too.
I do know that a swimming pool and a blender full of margaritas are in my future.
Anyone on I-40, I-20, or I-10 give me a shout as I go by. Anyone in Tucson, fire up that blender, Im on the way.
