When I bought my new 06 last month, the previous owner had a keypad entry installed on the drivers door.

I had always thought it looked out of place and stood out on a white car, so I decided to remove it.  I knew it would be a PITA, but I heated the area with a hair dryer and worked the 3M tape off.

What I didnt anticipate was that dirt and grime and sand and god only knows what else had taken up residence behind that sucker and embeded itself in the paint.

So I whipped out the ol' clay bar and 30 seconds later....WOW! Can't even tell anything was ever stuck on there.

I'm still amazed at what that stuff can do.
