OK,  I bought a set of 17 x 9 36mm Bullitts from AFS on Ebay for 07 GT.  Had 255/50 Fuzions mounted on them and put them on the car.  They look great initially but now I'm wondering if they stick out too much for my "reserved" taste.  The tires are just slightly inside the fender at the top.

Am I nuts?  If I am, is it totally out of the question to mount the stock 235/55s on these same wheels?  Some people have said no way and some said they'd be fine.

I'd also like to replace the cobra centor caps with something that's not...uhh...cobra.  Anyone have these wheels that has done this?

You will be stretching the sidewalls on the 235/55

I think it looks good.  the offset is between the  S197 and SN95's

thanks.  takes some getting used to i guess.  funny...my wife loves it and I'm only so-so.  it would be nice to drop the rear a little with springs but I'm far from a capable mechanic so we'll see.  local shop can do it easily and pretty cheap i guess.

Just doing the rears?  Thats really easy, Im sure you could do it.  Take a look for tacobills how to.  Im pretty sure he has one.
