This is quite likely been discussed many times before, but since I am new I thought I would ask.

I just picked up a 2008 Mustang and would like to know if anyone has added the window louvers to the 1/4 panel windows? If so where did you purchase yours?

I really do not want to get into removing the glass to install the louvers. So if anyone has installed them with the 3M duoble sided tape I would like to hear from you.

I will likely have to purchase them from a US dealer. They are available here in Ontario but at a higher cost.

Thanks
Rick

wheelskin.com has them prepainted.  Lots of people have ordered from there.  They have a selection.  You can get the Roush louvers from them, but not painted.  Roush site offers theirs prepainted but very expensive.  The site will come up as hubcapsplus or something like that when you get to it.  I ordered mine prepainted on 8 March, the tracking # says they'll be here 2 April.  It takes a couple of weeks because they have to paint them.

Thanks for the info, I will check it out. The main problem with buying in the states is shipping costs to Canada. Some dealers will only ship via UPS and that gets expensive.

Talk to the guy there. He has given a lot of members here discounts and may work out a deal for you.

Wheelskin is the best place (they sell painted Roush too). I got mine from there painted, and even with a hard to match color like P1, they are flawless.

How long did it take you to get yours?  I ordered the 8th of March and still don't have them.  I sent an email inquiring about them, they sent me a tracking number that said it would deliver the 28th, but it changed and now says the 2nd of April.  Wondering if you experienced the same kind of thing.

That was way longer than it took for mine, but mine were already painted when I placed the order (they had some already painted in stock). Took mine about a week to arrive so it was quicker than I expected. Wait until the 2nd and if nothing comes give them a call, they're usually pretty good about shipping (I ordered painted mirror covers from them as well).

Well I hope they get here on the 2nd, I'm going out of town for about 5 days the 3rd.  Says signature required, no one will be here to sign.  I will be pissed if they get sent back.

Woo Hoo, they came in today!  Color was dead on to me, they look great.  They aren't painted on the inside, only bummer.
