Top was not working right on Wife's 2000. Came up with help but was making a noise while in operation.
Take seat bottom out by pushing in on little tabs very gently with a screwdriver or your finger.

Take out bootom bolts on seat back.

I found some extra parts on the drivers side where the noise was coming from.

here is reservoir for fluid Dexron II Auto trans fluid. VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV

I bent the relay bracket by hand away from fill hole and pulled rubber plug out by hand and it is sitting on top
above the hole.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^it took maybe 5 oz
to fill up to the bottom of the hole.

I removed the drivers side plastic panel and I pulled up the door sill halfway to get it off

I found the nut that fell off and the ram (cylinder) hanging there.

I put the ram back on the pin, put the bolt on pin that had fallen off and the nut on with loctite.

I oiled all of the moving points and tested the top and checked for fluid leaks.

Took me about an hour and a half with the phone interruptions and coffee refills
and vaccuum time.
