Default Wheelwell chrome

Was wheelwell chrome an option on 65-66 mustangs? I talking about the chrome that screws into the wheel lips, or is that an modern accessory only? Thanks

Not for 65-6. It came out in 67. I have seen them retro fit onto a 65-6.

Ive seen them in catalogs for 65-66. Thanks, I didnt think they were stock, or a factory option, but I really like how they look. I just cant decide if I want to start drilling holes!
