Default C4 tranny question

ight this might be a silly question..but its another problem im runnin into...ok...so i got the 351w dropped in..got the c4 tranny bolted up behind it...but then when i go to put the crossmember under to bolt the tranny mounts to..i notice that the mounts dont go back as far as the crossmemeber does....so im assuming ima need a new crossmember...looks like i need somethin thas Y or T shapped to make it reach the mounts...or is there a crossmemeber thas specially made for this swap..or ne other crossmembes migth work of other years mustangs...if ne one knows id appreciate it...thanks

Take the stock crossmember and slide it forward. If the crossmember is spot welded just break the welds then slide it.

Ok this is were people don't know. The C4 Is shortet than the t-5 or AOD that cam in the stangs. So what you'll have to do it grind or re drill the bolting "slots" In the crossmember longer. So Make the slots in the CrossmemberLonger to acomodate for the shorter tranny.

i just slotted the holes more... worked fine for me
