i think if your car is the right color, and it doesnt look obnixous, it definitely makes your car stand out in a subtle way. so i wouldnt say its really ricey. plus, the look of rusted calipers on older cars doesnt exactly say "hey, my car looks nice, and i like to make it look like i care"

You can always just spray a clear on there. My whole thing is, why would you try to glorify stock calipers? The fad started with people trying to give the appearance that there car has Brembo's. Now I see Jetta's, Civic's, Eclipse's, Celica's, etc with red calipers. It really is a cheap pep boys ricer mod. Skip. Fail. Pass.

Those red calipers will look fantastic with your red underglow...

Like Brian said, why point out that you have the stock calipers on there? They stick out like a sore thumb because you have a black and white striped theme going on and then, BAM red calipers. Whats next, Brembo decals?

No thanks.

When my boyfriend paints his he takes them off the rotor paints them and adds a coat of clear on them and they stay looking nice for a long time.

Im painting mine black, just because I dont like the somewhat rusted look that the stock ones get over time. But Im doing the brush on method. I agree the red really pops on this car, I might have done back on a black car, or even the grey that dupicolor has to keep them looking stock

NOT a RICER move if its tastefully done. On a red or black stang red calipers look awesome.

Yeah, I'm probably going to paint mine black .. but only to kind of set them back from the wheels. I don't care for the stock silver look ...

I was kinda wondering why you decided to paint them while they were still on the car though ... why not remove them and do a nice clean job?

Sorry for all the **** some guys are givin ya, I did mine in acolor close to my car and because my rims show so much of them I thought it would be good. Hey a lot of people say they look good and 1 of the judges at a show gave me points for it and how clean the were. definatly use blue painters tape and take the calipers off You can get to the hole caliper. I am going to install Hawk pads this weekend (and new braided lines) so I painted the pad outside covering.
Need to show ya the back wheels with the steeda billet LCA  looks Good

i dont think it looks good since you painted the brake pads also, why not take 5 min and take the caliper off so you dont paint the pads or the rotor???
