here's red on windviel blue gt.used g2 kit.its epoxy and won't chip or wear off.just spray as you wash car.

I Painted mine Ford Blue at first, but didn't like the look, changed to Black and love it......My car is Black also.

It all depends on the color of the car...

I do like mine black better then the red.

I did my calipers "Tungsten Gray", on a black car with black wheels. The epoxy finish came out looking metallic black with a purple tinge. Not what I expected, but I like its subtlety. Debating whether a MUSTANG decal in orange would be an enhancement or a liability.

Here's my pic of my black ones with the pony...pics was taken about 2 yrs ago when I still had the stock rims and fascia...but you get the point.. BTW, it looks like the brake pad is also painted, but its not...must be a shade thing.

I found the rough casting of the calipers wasn't good for decal adhesion, the decals seemed to 'fly' on the edges. Perhaps an abrasive polishing wheel on a drill would buff a flat area suitable for decals?
Red seems to be the caliper colour of choice for the masses, it'san unwritten ruleI reckon. (Yes, my fronts are Red, rear is Black ;)).

I was thinking of doing mine in black. Car is Redfire with chrome rims. What do you think?

I say red as well on a black car. If you are going to paint the calibers then please paint the rotors as well. Do all that work making the calipers look great and then to see that rusty or crappy silver painted rotor just brings it all down.
