I'm not really familiar with tires so I was wondering if anybody could help me find some good tires for some new rims I'm getting. I'm getting 20 inch rims 8.5" in the front and 9.5" in the back, I keep seeing the size 255/35/20, but I'm not sure if that is right or not. I have an 06 GT. I'm just looking for the best deal on some good tires, they don't have to be the best, I just want some good solid tires.

Thanks for any help.

Find a set with a high treadwear rating. Stay away from the softer tires, unless you don't care about switching out often. Michelin pilot sports are real good, and very expensive. Nitto 555s are common for mustangs with 20s. I am running 245/40/20 on my fronts and 275/35/20 rears. 8.5 and 10". Since you're going with a staggered wheel fitment, it would be best to get wider tires for the rear. Since you can't rotate anyway. If you want to rotate and don't care about a deeper lip wheel out back, get the same size wheels and tires. I would go with a 245 or 255/35-40 fronts and a 265 or 275/35 for the rears of a 9.5"
