I can definetly tell a difference, the tires didnt squeel as much with the old gears and it seems a lot faster. I posted this so people can also see what kind of RPM's they will be looking at with certain speeds. If enough people request I will do a 0-120 or something.
I come up with about 6 seconds or slow...I mean or so... yeah lets keep it SLOW.
I guess I am just used to it, I want a s/c really bad, but I dont know if I my engine and back end can handle it safely. It is only a GT not a cobra. Plus I am concerned about traction now with 300 HP, what about when I have 500 HP? lol
I have the basic bolt ons - K&N CAI, 75 MM t/b and plenun, coil on plug, aluminum driveshaft, pullys, exhaust, control arms, chip and tune...and the gears now.

300 flywheel hp. Around 260 rwhp with what you have.
I only paid $250 for rear gears installation and that was with the best type of gear oil, the kind that is like $70 for 2 gallons, I forget the name at the momment. It was a white can with red lettering. Anyway I live in Tampa, FL not sure if you are close. They did a really good job, I watched the whole time taking pictures like an idiot.
Oh I mean, there is a lot of work that goes into it, so $350 is not too bad if they are a nice clean shop that you have heard good things about. If anything gets into the gears when they have the car apart of course you know can really hurt.

yep, thats about what the dyno said. It just feels faster to me because of the lighter flywheel, aluminum driveshaft, the 3.73 gears and sct tuner, oh and some suspension upgrades to help put it to the ground!
