Ive been reading around these forums, and i see how some fellow MF'ers get 200+ in one tank =| Am i the only one that barely reaches 150 miles in ONE tank? Should i get this checked out?

I Live in Miami, Florida if it helps...

Sounds like you got a problem.  Last roadtrip I took a year ago, I calculated getting 300 miles on a full tank.  That was before I got my CAI/tune also.  Car was completely stock at that point too.  I'm making another trip in 3 weeks, so we'll see what she runs now

What are your driving habits?  Obviously a leadfoot is going to get less miles out of a full tank, so if that is your problem it explains your lack of good fuel economy.

Florida...do you keep your a/c on a lot?  Not like that would totally kill your mpg, but it doesn't help.

Do you take a lot of short trips?  Do you idle at a standstill for long intervals?

As you can see, some questions should be answered before deciding if there is a problem with the car or not.

I wouldn't say I have a lead foot, but I tend to get on her at least once a day for fun.  I only run my AC when it's at least 80 degrees.  I love having my window down cruising

I DID Notice, last time I was in Boca that my mpg SUCKED when travelling from Hillsoro Blvd -> West Palm area, might be plain bad gas down there

On the way down there... 645 miles (and a lead foot), I did it on 2 tanks of gas with some to spare

That's key too!  Often bad gas = bad mileage.  I ALWAYS use Chevron.

That's only about 9 mpg. You've got some kind of problem. I'd take it to someone.

I usually get a bit more than 300 miles on a full tank, and that's when I'm my usual leadfooting self. I usually fill up with premium too...

Wow, looks like the MPG really varies all over the board, I am envious of you guys that get like 300 to a tank.  I average about 260, and that is till it is about 20 miles left to the whole tank.

I usualy get around 350 miles per tank in stock trim except for the 17s which should lower my mpg...my car must be a freak?

And I use regular gas.

I usually average about 290 miles per tank with both city and highway driving. Although I do not have a lead foot I still usually gun it once a day just for kicks.
