ok so here it is, I just bought a 2000 V6 Mustang Convertible from my girlfriends uncle for $5,500
it has 74,000 Miles on it...lets see what everyone thinks ...did I get a good deal?
Engine is beautiful tires are new, top is brand new, leather is in GREAT condition
The only thing I find wrong with it, (he did point this out), is that the windows on the driver side don't line up perfectly, and the window will catch the top if you don't close door right (you have to put pressure at the top of the window or else it will just catch the top)...there is a small gap between the lining on the rubber of the back window and the driver side window...I'm a little concerned rain might get into it...not sure, I'll need to get those aligned I guess...especially since I don't wanna wear out at the top
Also I bought the car in Florida and drove it home to Connecticut..
I have planned to do the usual for now...a new stereo system and tints...and some after-market fogs maybe...
I just don't know where to put the damn fog switch...I need to find a mustang with the fog switch so I know where it goes lol
oh and another question...do I have to buy a whole new bumper to add fogs....or can I just cut out the plastic lines going across in where the fog lights should be?
Just take off the little plastic parts. If you get under the car and look behind the bumper the plastic parts are held on by a little bolt. I don't remember what the size is, something like 8 or 10.
what color is that? navy or black? i cant tell, my eyes arent what they used to be, lol. if its black, black it out, dark wheels, smoked tails...i love the darth vader look. if its navy, chrome saleens would set it off.
either way, id shave the decal off the side. but congrats on a nice clean car for a good price! thats about what i paid for my 98 with 100k on it.

for the fogs, you just cut out those bars. theres spots where you bolt in the lights- all you need are the metal inserts so the screws hold up. the foglight swith goes in the forward coil holder slot.
Id suggest spend a few extra bucks for an oem style kit. get the clear(or smoked clear) ones with the upgraded bulbs- worth it- from www.vmptuning.com. 2 hour installation, mostly trying to get the screws for the bulbs lined up.
Is it manual or auto? I think that you should go with the blacked out look. I think that Vert's that are blacked out look pretty sweet. Actually I think that any car that is blacked out is sweet.
I like the Foxbody. Looks like a pretty nice car for 2k.
Do you mean an example pic of a blacked out Mustang? Just go to google and type in Black Mustang, they will pop up everywhere. You will wonder when you became emo and started seeing so much blackness. lol I would try to post up a pic of a blacked out car but the picture function on this site defeats me big time.
This is so weird talking to you on two different sites. It's ****ing with my mind. lmao
im with indisposible, if it is black, blacked out is the way to go! black wheels, smoked tails, tinted windows.....super sweets. the decal doesnt look all that bad, but it will really stick out if you black it out. itd look a lot cleaner if you took it off...but like i said, its your car. a nice one, too.
