Default 01 s281-e sc engine

I am in the process of getting a 01 s281-e sc engine, that i will be placing in my 96 gt. It has the series 2 blower, and I was just curious how much these engines are rated for as far as hp/tq. The blower is set to 11psi. Any other info on this engine would be appreciated. thanks!

I don't think it is an "E" engine, because it wouldn't have a series II blower. A series II is rated at 365 HP.

Saleen didn't produce the S281E until 2002. If the engine you're getting is from a 2001 it more then likely is not the engine out of an "E". The E also uses the larger 2.2L series V blower. The 01 SC engine was rated at 350hp, while the 2002 S281E was rated at 425hp.

Yeah, you're right. 365hp for 2001. 350hp for 2000.
