Default thinking of getting new wheels & tires-looking for some help & opinions

looking to change out mycobra r's with Boss 336 chrome rims. right now I have 20x8.5 w/nitto 555's255/35's all the way around, looking to stagger with a 20x8.5 upfront with a nitto 555 255/35 and a 20x10 out rear with either a nitto 555285/30 or 295/30. which tire do you guys think would work better, yet still look good from all aspects? the car has been lowered, but as you can see from the pics, it's not all that low.

here is a pic of my car currently, plus a pic of the wheels I am thinking of changing to...let me know what you think

thanks for the help

I would do the 255/35/20 up front, and 295/35/20 out back. Sweet car.

Personally, since my car will never be lowered, I opted to fill the wheel well with tire. I am running staggered 8.5 and 10 x 20 as well. However, I did opt out of the Nittos and went with Toyo Proxes S/T. 255x40 front, 295x40 rear. For me, mission accomplished....

thank for the input so far....I've been doing alot more research since I posted this earlier and I think the 285/30 will definitely "round in" the sidewall unlike the way the front will look with a 255/35 (flush with the tread & the rim)...so I have been leaning more towards the 295/30 or even 295/35....will I have any rubbing issues what-so-ever with either of these?

one more question to ask...how do youthinkthese wheels in gun metal with a chrome lip would lookon my car? or would you stick with all chrome

thanks again for all your help & opinions

Not a fan of the gunmetal on red but I like them on blue.
