I'm shooter. I just bought a 2000 Black GT. It needs a bit of work including the steering column.

I need to know if anyone here can tell me exactly what I need to do about the ignition switch and the security system involved. I really don't want to get the dealer involved for $ reasons.

I've got the colum from another stang and now just need to know how to bypass the security or find out if putting the keys from the original column on my key chain would work. Is the sensor on the column or another computer in the car?
