Yeah, a lot of the import ibanez guitars suck or just have bad pickups (rest is good)...and you tend to pay a lot to achieve THIS. The prestige models is where things start to get good. Once you spend a decent amount of $$, you get what you pay for. Jacksons nowadays are getting pretty cheap for what you get. The only thing that I would want to see from them are a warrior model for the pro series, and a KV model for the pro and mg series. The bridges on the string-thru models are good, but definitely not perfect...so that could use an upgrade. Honestly, the only reason I can think of why jacksons are not in the lead in sales are: 1-not enough marketing 2-the lack of GOOD jacksons in most stores (pro/mg/usa) 3-the artists moved from jackson to dean, esp and ibanez.
