Alot of ibanez guitars are going to crap.  We bought the xiphos and the v blade from ibanez thinking it was going to be a wicked guitar.  They both had fret buzz and the overall quality was bad.  We sold them.  My giger bass I had, was not even that great!  I sold it too.  The two guitars he plays most are his slsmg and hit rr24  Looking at getting a caparison or a carvin.  We really love the kv2's also!

I would def look into the ESP jeune fille X if I were you, like I said I think it's right up your alley

^^^ a pretty penny, but worth every ounce of it

I think they tried to add "luxury features" to the F line of esp/ltd with that one. I will pass. I don't like odd-shaped guitars. V's and RR's are definitely okay, but once you get odd designs.......price and custom design>playability.

would be what I would get. If I passed, a good quality epiphone Les Paul Classic Plus would be good (the discontinued model)...a break from the metal stuff. Maybe stuff some PAF's in it.
