Windsor/Detroit racers

On Sat April 5, I am planning to go to St Thomas Dragway in St Thomas Ont. Its about a 2 1/2 hr drive from Windsor. I know Milan is opening the same day, but cross your fingers and you might get 3 runs in that day and maybe the staff will only spit at you rather than on you. I went to St Thomas last year and I was able to get in about 15 runs. Anybody interested?

The staff at Milan was GREAT for me, and I've been there at least 4 times. I only wish for more than a couple passes...but cars break. It sucks.

Does that track have timeboards and a booth for slips? What's the weather forecast for there right now? My guess is that the weather there is about the same as the Detroit area, but maybe a bit cooler.

yes to time boards, and time slips. Lots of ricers go there too (heh). Weather is usually about the same as detroit area

Hmm...when's the last time you were at Milan? Was it in November by any chance?

when ever the final day was. It just seems that I get pissed at somebody there every time I go.

You ever been to Lapeer? May get a chance to go this Saturday, but that's probably a long drive for you. At Lapeer, several people say that you can get several passes in. Did you run your best pass at St Thomas Dragway? How is the track prep there?

Best is Norwalk. Never been to Lapeer. Its probably closer than St Thomas. Track prep isn't very good. Like I said, its a crappy track but last year I easily got 15 passes in and I was the second fastest car there.
