I drive a 2006 Redfire with Pony Package. Because of the Pony Package, I already have black rocker stripes and have been wondering if I want to carry out this theme throughout the car. I've wanted a pair of Roush quarter louvers for awhile and saw this picture of a red mustang with the louvers in black and became curious about whether itd match my black stripes. If you guys like this idea, what do you think of painting my stock spoiler a flat black, like a Mach 1? Thanks in advance. P.S. I also have a pretty bad photoshop job of these louvers on my striped car, if you guys are curious.

Thanks a lot for your input guys. I think I will be getting the louvers and spoiler painted like i said and then going for a Mach 1-style black trunk lid stripe. Thanks again.
What I did was I got the blackout panel for the back, black stripes, black titanium gas tank, stilld debating the smoked lights, and in the near future black bullitt rims. You could get that spolier, but it looks kinda cheap IMO.
wow, that does look nice. I've seen (and considered) that reverse C-stripe before, and am still pretty skeptical. I think I'll just stick to my rocker stripes for the side. The chin spoiler looks a lot cooler than I thought it would, though. I've been wanting a CDC V6 air dam for a long time, but I might have to consider that spoiler. It would go nice with the V6 rocker panels too
Here is my Redfire lady, all accented in black. I have the rear tail light accents from mossmustang that just came in yesterday, will put them on this coming weekend. I am thinking about the flush mount rear quarter window louvers from silverhorseracing, painting them flat black also. I like the Mach 1 stripes on the car earlier in this post, but not sure yet if that will be too much black. Enjoy, I do!
Cool, thanks for that. I haven't seen how the flat black spoiler looks on the redfire so I appreciate the pic. Post a pic when you get the flush quarter louvers, I think it would look good and I'd be curious to see.
I love the flat black accents on it, very contemporary but retro also. Not sure when I'll get to order the quarter louvers, I have a method - put on the parts that you have before you buy any more <grin>. As you can see from my sig I have an older lady too, and still finishing up a 2+ year project redoing her engine, tranny, etc. I could spend a full time job salary on cars!
Check out these forums, I know they have given me a lot of options to think about...I'm in the same boat and am adding black accents to my Dark Candy Apple Red and am going with the Mach 1 theme. I just wish it would warm up so I can add what I have so far...
The Cervini B2 spoiler came completely unpainted. I prepped it and painted it myself, along with the install of course. It was quite an ordeal too, but very straighforward. I did it all on a Saturday afternoon. The Cervini website has the prep and paint instructions so I went to the local paint supply house, got what I needed and when it came in did it up. I love it but the roads here in Colorado are tough on anything that hangs low... I keep my flat black paint can handy for touch ups!
