Well guys, I wanted to let you know about something I've been working on....I've got a new carnuaba paste wax coming out here sometime towards the end of next month.
This is going to be paste with a high Brazilian carnauba content, it is going to be easy on/easy off like the rest of my products. This wax will also give a lot of depth and wetness.
I'm kinda gearing this toward the show car crowd and just the enthusiast that wants the quality of a high end carnuaba paste wax.
Right now I'm in the process of deciding on a container and getting ready to do the graphics for the container.
I will probably do a preorder special in the next few weeks. I'm also going to get some samples out for some members to tryout.
Possible stupid question...what is the difference between carnauba wax and normal wax. what are the benefits of it

A carnauba wax is going to give you a deep and wet look. There are different kinds of carnaubas also. There is Yellow Carnauba, Brazilian, etc... What percentage of carnauba makes a big difference too. My wax is going to have a high content of Brazilian carnauba which will be very high quality wax.
so is it going to be white or yellow nuba going in? you said it's going to have a high nuba content, so it's going to be more of a beauty wax instead of a durability wax? i've been wanting you to come out with a beauty paste!

This is going to have white carnuaba and it is going to be more of a beauty wax.
Since it is going to have a high amount of Brazilian carnauba it is going to be a little more pricey to make. The price is going to be in the $40-$50 range. I'm trying to keep the price lower but still have a high quality product.

that's something you've always been good at
so this is going to be something comparable to pinnacle souveran paste?
high nuba content means you're formulating it for darker colors, right?

Yes it will be comparable to Souveran. It will look awesome on darker colored vehicles!
I'm going to call it Wet Obsession.

Hey Justin, Have you had a chance to put it to use yet? Hows the application? Is it going to be apply to one body panel and then taken off before the product dries or do you do the whole car and then take it off?? Any particular time you should wait before taking it off?? How about layering and how long between coats? 12-24 hours? Sorry for all the questions. They just popped in my head.

I have used a couple different samples, I didn't get much to try out. I'm very happy with how easy it goes on and comes off, it is very similar to Souveran in the ease of application. You don't have to let it haze so you can do a panel and then take it right off. If you are going to layer I would put the second coat on about 30 minutes after the first coat, then any additional layers I would wait for 24 hours.

How bout a smaller container? BTW, My 2005 sat all winter and my Obsessive wax job still looks great!
