I got my new saleen rims.. I changed out the stock lug nuts for a set of locking chrome lug nuts from Advanced Auto.. I brought them to the shop to have installed and the place put the new lugs on and said.. Just to let you know theses lugs are the wrong type for you rims..  THey are the type that have a washer at the end of them to seat against the rim. So i said ok were is the package so i can return them.. "uh.. sorry we threw it out"  Great im out 29.00 for lugs.. I take the car home to get the lugs off and buy new ones, but the Star lug remover does not fit inside the rims to get the lugs off.. There isnt enough cleareance to get a standard lug remover in :-(  Soooo my question is.. What do i do?? WOuld one of them Gator Remover tolls work. Anyone running saleens on a 94 + mustang Please let me know what you use/ used to remove your lugs..

Im using the stock lug nuts on my 03 w/ black saleens. I change them out over winter and i just use the black factory lug wrench to break them.

I had one keyed lug on them but ended up removing them all due to stripping one out.  I had to borrow one from the dealer to run it out.

Well make sure that they dont have the correct tool for your car. Because they had to get a socket in there to tighten it. So you need the same one to get it off.
