well im mad as heck now - 3/23/2008 11:14:20 PM    1badV6   Posts: 164 Joined: 1/1/2008 Status: offline I have the pypes mid muffler system and i put it on and all was well. so i decide to take it to a shop just to tack a few spots for stability . ive been to this shop for work on previous cars plenty of times. so i get under my car today to find out that they ruined my exhaust they tack welded every part even the middle clamps that hold the x and the mid pipes together so i had to break out the grinding wheel and cut through them. luckly they were small they but every where else they are huge now i have this rattle that is unfixible. where can get just two new gt midpipes no x just the mid pipes cuz i cant live with this exhuast rattle its driving me nuts i no ford can order them but does anyone know how much any help would be most appreciated/ thanks dan Post #: 1

RE: well im mad as heck now - 3/24/2008 9:00:59 AM    1badV6   Posts: 164 Joined: 1/1/2008 Status: offline ok maybe mid pipes was not the word. im gonna need new pipes  just the ones that go from the back of the X over the axle to axleback mufflers. the x i have is fine is everything afte that thats all messed up. this is why i do everything my self, becuase of the morons some ppl hire to work for them that have no clue what they are doing. owell any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks for the post slacker i appreciate you trying (in reply to Slacker584) Post #: 3

Most ford oem parts places sell that part (the exhaust pipe?) your looking for starting at ~$85 to $100 each. Here's one: http://www.newfordparts.com/catalog.htm. I don't know if there are aftermarket places that sell them for cheaper, but I wouldn't doubt it....Or you could go to a junkyard although I don't know what the odds of finding a late model stang would be...
