Default flowmaster a/t paint

i have a single flowmaster a/t. the back side of the muffler near the exhaust tip has a lot of scratches which is very noticable since the muffler is painted black. what kind of paint should i use to touch this up? just a flat black or heat resistant paint? thanks.

Heat resistance, I'd imagine.

Definitely heat-resistant. The muffler gets very hot while the car is running.

I just used flat black BBQ paint for mine when the factory paint had a bit of a scratch in it, worked very nicely. Clean it, prep it well, few coats of BBQ paint and you're all set.

+1 on the BBQ paint. That is what I used for my jeeps.
