Anyone get any coil pack and wires which made a noticeable difference in performance/response? Did you change the gap? How hard was the install?

I am looking for another cheap performance upgrade for the engine again and was just wondering about this since I had it on my last car :P

Coil pack and wires will make no HP gain unless your stockers are totally worn out. Wires LOOK nice though. Since your selling your aeroturbine muffler, did you replace it with another performance muffler? If you didn't then this is your next cheapest mod.

Bleh, maybe i'll put the money towards a T-lok then. It would be cooler anyhow ;)

Yeah, actually I already have the FRPP duals on the way... actually should be here this next week (hopefully). I can't wait to slap those bad boys on and cruise around with them.

Waste of money from everyone I've seen on the board.  Sometimes an aftermarket coil will calm down a rough idle but you won't get any performance out of it.  You have to remember our cars are controlled so much by computers products like this don't work like they used too.

I partially agree with you, although I haven't found a need to do this yet it is only because newer stock ignition systems put out the kind of power we could only get from the aftermarket 20 years ago. High RPM and High cylinder pressures are one the reasons Hi pwr ignition systems are still necessary, that just doesn't pertain to most of our cars.
