No sir. THe 2.2L and 2.5L is a Chrysler engine. The more engine most people confuse it with is the Mitsubishi 2.6L. The 2.5L did use a mitsubishi turbo.

Try out the Flowmaster 40 series for that loud rumble, or the Super 44's for that old school muscle tone ( I should be a salesPERSON) naw... hushpower II muffler is the way to go level or ANY 2 chamber muffler.

You want a free flowing muffler for a turbo. The turbo is enough backpressure. In other words hold it up to light if can see from one end to other nothing in the way. That is good for turbo.

I have a cheap $34 one that is a "stock replacement" and sounds better than stock. Got it at jcwhitney.

I like the sound of mine, it's deep and smooth, not ricey or thrashy. Sounds much better than stock even though it's supposed to be the same thing.

Run that **** straight pipe... no muffler lol. Or try that cherry bomb vortex muffler they have. Its a good flowing design. They are CHEAP too! And TBird, from what I have heard Chrysler owns Mitsubishi. So they might have the same motors with different set-up's (turbo?) But the blocks might be the same.

The Daytona uses the Chrysler "K" engine. They did share some designs and such things, but Chrysler most certainly does/did not own Mitsubishi.

They didn't ever own Mitsubishi, but many mitsubishis and chryslers are built with the same parts/are the same car: Mitsubishi Eclipse and Eagle Talon, Dodge Stealth and Mitsubishi 3000, I'm sure there are many more.
