Default 347 Stroker / Supercharger

If you are going to eventually do a 347 Stroker or a supercharger what size Mass Air Flow would you use? Is a 73 mm to big? If you need one that big will it work fine with a 302 until future mods?

I have pretty much all the bolt on's you can do including heads. The next step is either a stroker or supercharger. So I want to get the MAF done before I get that done.

Maybe he was speaking of the Dart long block???

The stock 302 blocks WILL NOT handle 800hp. I dont care what they say. I have seen a FEW that were at 600.

I've got a 347 stroker and Vortech SC and went with the 90MM MAF, 70MM TB, and 42 lb. inj. What mods do you have that's getting you over the 500RWHP mark?

Just curious, because I was just over 400 RWHP with a 347 stroker, Vortech S trim SC, Canfield 195 heads,Anderson powerpipe, TF Street intake, electric fan, 1 5/8 headers, 3 " mandrel exhaust, MSD 6 ALignition, pulleys, and a ton of other stuff.

Also make sure your trans is sufficient, if you're putting out these numbers. I went with a Tremec TKO 500, and I can'teven begin totell you how many other things were addressed, just so I was doing it right and doing it once.
