Vegetable oil spray (Like PAM). There are also some more expensive water soluble sprays made for the purpose you can order
from Summit or Jegs. Just spray the panels and the rubber wont stick.
You can also buy TurtleWax Spray On Bug And Tar Remover with Wax if you have some you need to remove.
The residue wont hurt the paint and it wont take off any wax you already have.
I've tried the sprays andI don't like the mess. I prefer to use masking tape. I sit down on the ground next to my car and tape off the fender edges where rocks, asphalt, rubber or other things can hit and scratch my paint. Then I tape off everything from the tires back in strips, front to back, from the bottom of the car about 10" up. After I'm all done there maybe just a few pieces of rubber I pick off, then I remove the tape and I'm done.
You can find the tape in automotive stores in various colors. It's kind of a pain in the ass but it works best for me.
+1 to the tape - buy blue painters tape - wound stick or harm the finish
u can also us a heavy coat of wax

You can never have too much power, just not enough traction.

what about that duplicolor spray paint that's removable? Designed for like soccer moms to paint their minivans with their kids number on the side or whatever. supposedly comes off with soap and water, maybe that would keep it from sticking and would look better than tape or somethin.
