polished or chrome??

Im goin to get some saleens for my 2000 gt but should i go with polished or chrome? I heard polished becasue the look would last longer...is this true or do you just have to take care of both equally???

polished alum. is alot lighter than chrome.  but chrome takes alot less to maintain.  mostly just wash them with soap/water when you wash the car, and then put a coat of wax on the every couple of months.  polished is going to take much more work to keep clean and shiny.  you will have to polish them every couple of weeks to keep them looking top notch.  i personally think that chrome looks better and is much easier to maintain, and taken care of then you shouldnt have any problems with them for many years to come.

I personally like the polished cause it will last alot longer. They are a bit more high maintainance but well worth it to me.

I agree that polished wheels are higher quality and will last longer, a lifetime if taken care of properly.  Chrome will fade no matter what you do.
