Default changing tires

i will be taking a pair of m/t tires to the track this year and i need help with changing them. can i jack the rearend up on the differential and change them both at the same time? the owners manual said not to do it that way. i thought i read on here that someone has done it. i have ground effects and i was hoping to make things easy. thanks

You can never have too much power, just not enough traction.

Meeehhh.. it's POSSIBLE, but you really shouldn't.. I've seen guys both destory differentials, and punch holes in gas tanks/trunks by doing that if/when the thing slips off the jack.. If you're using the factory jack that came with the car, there are indentations on all four corners of the frame that were intended to be used as jack points..

If you're using a different type of jack you could use the differential, but I'd be careful broham..
