Default need intake suggestions!!!

okay i have a 86 gt..we know speed density and swirl heads, the question i have is what intake should i use?i have power pullies, bbk shorties with h pipe and flows, short belt(no ac)motor runs awsome but i would like a little more for the street this year.i got a explorer gt40 upper and lower but i dont think it had the right hook ups for my car,it didnt run well but i did notice more response.should i go with the cobra/gt40 made for my car?or i was thinking the jegs max box or even comp cams power box?im looking for the car to run right again.but im stuck,im on a budget and i plan to build a different motor next year but for now id like the most of the 302...any suggestions?

thank you very much,i wasnt sure if it was any good or not.im getting a lower gt40 tomorrow and was going to either pic up a new cobra upper for it or i was thinking the typhoon.any info on that?ive heard ill have to do some cleaning on it but the performance is good.comparable to edelbrock and made overseas but the price is half.or should i just go with the gt40?also what do i have to do to put a bigger throttle body?and egr?

if you go with the cobra upper you dont need the egr spacer the cobra intake has the egr plate already built in
i just picked up a typhoon NIB upper and lower complete with hardware for 200 bucks
it looks ok but the castings are a little rough i swear its a edelbrock but it wears a typhoon name only the castings are flaky but very compariable
its up to you i like the cobra look my self
just bolt the TB on i use a thin coat os ultra copper in place of a gasket
hope it helps
