i searched and found the link for how to paint rims.. so im good on that.. my problem is apparently the last person to own this car had their wheels 'dipped' in chrome.. i only say this because its peeling.. like its an elastic coating.. its starting to look horrible so i was thinking of peeling and sanding it as much as possible and painting it..   question is: Do you think it'll work?

sure, but sandblast em first.. get down to the metal.. (imo)      oh.. and i love how you reversed the colors in your "mustang" indention there.. didn't see that in the other post..

Status: offline Make sure that those wheels are super clean and that they roughed up a little for the paint to stick to them.

Status: offline Take the rims to a local sandblast shop and have them blasted otherwise your paint is going to do the same thing the crome is doing. This will not cost much and most blasters can do it while you wait. If you are not sure where any sandblast shops are you can call any sign shop in the phone book that makes Redwood signs and they can tell you where the best blasters are.
