Any help appreciated.

Newtakeoff.com, that's about the best deal, but the shipping will kill you.  And you will need the cobra flange so it will bolt up to the V6 driveshaft.

they list the same axle cheaper, but I've had NO experience dealing with them.

thats not a bad price for emtire rear end with choice of gears. hell I just paid more than that for my gear change with parts. I guess your housing is trashed or just your axles.
Well a 9 inch currie would be great if you think you can swing it. It would be hard to tear this one up even with a lot of HP.
If your not building up to high HP you can stay with the 8.8 if you get a chance get some hardened axles and your chice of gears.
good luck with your big project.

Stay away from "speedconcepts.net" for any parts. Just went through 2 months of bull to get my money back from Visa. Parts were never sent and there never answer the phone(voice mail) or emails. BBB gives them an "F" rating. I just today received my 8.8 3.55 axle from newtakeoff.com. The V6 flange is already installed and shipping was $165.00. Shipping time was 4 days to Long Island. They have 3.31,3.55,3.73 and 4.10 ratios available.  GOOD customer service and Fast shipping.  REPEAT-stay away from "speedconcepts.net".

hey yurka... you're located in socal right? then go for the diversified marketing listing. Actually diversified marketing is the company known as newtakeoff.com. They have a place in cerritos where you can pick up the parts, as long as that warehouse has them in stock. Give them a call or send them an e-mail, they should be able to help you out

i just got myself a whole new gt takeoff front brake assembly (off of ebay through them) for $85 bucks today... can't beat that! the guys are great there and they'll do what they can to help you out.

oh and you can get the v6 flange off of fordparts.com for like $35 shipped

The rearends from Diversified(newtakeoff.com)already have the V6 flange installed.

I know they list some with the V6 flange installed, but not all of them say they do.  For example, if I ever did swap to an 8.8, I want the stock 3:31 ratio, I didn't see a 3:31 for the V6 listed on the site, not saying you couldn't ask for it.  One question though, they all say t-lok and ABS, I don't have ABS, what's the difference?

The axle is set up for use on ABS cars but will work on NON-ABS cars. No problem.   As for the flange give them a call, like you said they might just have them. Personally,I went with the 3.55s,a little more dig but shouldn't affect gas mileage to much as it only raises RPMs about 150. It changes the final drive ratio in overdrive from 2.35 to 2.52. Going to install them and the FRPP dual exhaust in the next few days.
