Well, it arrived, right on time! Piece of cake to put on. This is the painted chin spoiler from CDC.

I like it. Alot of people get the fangs but to me they're just a bit too big. I think the CDC is a nice conservative choice that doesn't overpower the front end, yet is still agressive.

Hey 4Rowdy, is that the CDC Classic chin spoiler, like this one?
http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=89

Also, did you order it painted from CDC, as in the textured black paint?  Lasty, is it possible to post a picture of the entire profile of your car, taken directly from the side of the car?  I want to see how the CDC spoiler flows with the lines of the rocker panels on the side.  Thanks for the info...

Pony_car: the link you posted is indeed the chin spoiler I have and it was painted by them. The texture is actually more of a rough paint (not very rough though), I was expecting more of a plasticy feel like the side skirts, but it is definately paint. The side skirts actually have a more textured feeling than the chin. I will try to get back out there today for more pics. It flows quite well with the sides, that was one of the selling points. The other point was it isn't too over-powering on the front of the car to where it looked out of place. Check out "phunny guy", he has a side view in his posts, and he was very helpful.

07stang: It attaches quite easily. It uses the 2 screws inside each wheelwell, then the entire thing has 3m acrylic double sided tape, followed by 4 additional screw behind the chin going thru the chin and bumper.

http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/images/installsheets/05-07_Mustang_V6_Chin_Spoiler_Install.pdf

I was able to skip the whole first step becuase it comes pre-taped. After I taped it up and pressed along the underside edge I pushed on a little piece to see how well it was holding after only a few minutes. It was definately on there!

everyone else: THANKS FOR THE COMPLIMENTS!

This is the v6 Classic chin, not the v8 Agressive.

Oh my bad.......I thought it was called the agressive chin spoiler. theres a pretty big difference between the two I guess.

Heres the V6 cdc "classic" chin spoiler

Heres is the GT "classic" chin spoiler

I prefer the fang heres a pic of it on my car before I did the swap.

the V6 classic looks good on your color though.  CDC should make an agressive shin spoiler fro the 6's I bet it would look sweet.  I wish the fang spoiler would have come pre painted that flat black color like yours oh well. Nice car and keep up the modding!
