Try the Classics Mustang section and post your question there. You can also see what diameter you have on stock tires, and compare with tires you want, and will get a very good idea of clearance. Tires back in '67 were most likely 14" 70 series and had ALOT of room around fender wells (the look of the day). I figure you could probably go 17x8's easy with a low profile tire and proper off-set. The trick will probably be the 4 lug axles as choices in that catagory.
