I'm looking for a decent 2.3l I would like a turbo, but it's really not that important. ALso wanting an AOD Transmission to bolt up to the 2.3. I will be sticking this in my 81 project that I am starting. I have a few items that I would/could sell/trade. I got two sets of GT seats with this car when I bought it...also got some Cobra parts with it as well. I know I'm not supposed to list anything for sale until I have posted 100 posts so I am offering to trade at this point...let me know if anyone is interested....preferably someone near me, I really don't want to ship seats or hoods and such across the country....all my junk is in SW Missouri.

79-86 - C3
87-90 - hydraulic 3-4 shift A4LD
91-93 - electronic 3-4 shift

Well, the more I look, the more info I get...turns out I have an 81 Cobra on my hands....so forget all of the 4 banger stuff...I gotta find one of those way under powered 4.2l engines...so if anyone has one...I need it! I could also use any and all info anyone has on the 81 cobra. I do know I need a cobra hood..well I have the hood, I need thehood scoop...the pace car kind that runs the length of the hood. ALso need the front bumper cover and air damn.

Well I finally got a line on some parts at least a Pace Car hood...which will work for the Cobra...the guy also has the nose piece as well...now if only he was about 500 miles closer!
