I know 235 50 18 tires fit the 18 x 8.5" wheel like the Bullitt from shelby GT 2007.

But will 235 50 18 tires fit  an 18 x 9 wheel?

Please help

8.5 is the widest recommended for 235/50/18  It will fit, but not properly

Yes, it will stretch a little tho, depends on the look you are going for. It will look odd if you do it all around, maybe just in the front and put some beefier tires out back?

I've seen a few run up to 275 with no problem.  I'm actually looking into going from the 235's that's on them now to 275.

Actually 235 is one of the recomended tires to go on a 9in wheel. I personally have some on my car and they fit fine, not even a stretch.
