Default 00 GT vs. 06 G35 auto

with my mods (i know, not much), vs. a 2006 G35 auto sedan, how would this race go to say 100mph? G35 is a 280 horse 3.5L with 270 ft lb.

Driver's race. But I'd give you the edgeb/cmanualsare a lotfaster off the line if you can launch right.

Hmm..an auto sedan with 280 horse and 270 ft lbs. new stangs are what..305 horse and 320 ft lbs? I don't see that being a REAL close race ?

The new G35's are close with S197GT's and they have 306HP 268Torque. The OP's talking about the older G35 which is a driver's race with the newedges. So I'dgive him the edge in the drivers race due to themanual transmission and mods.

"We took our test car to the track, where it hunkered down and dashed to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds, covering the quarter-mile in 13.9 seconds at 103."

I wouldn't make any hasty decisions based on hp/tq numbers

This is C&D's test of the 07 G35 with 306 horse. I'm talking about the 280 horse variety in 2006.
