i'm 17 and i got my mom to do a quote throught her company, which her's is usually a little more expensive on a 96 cobra, i have no tickets or wrecks, and it came out to around $5000 a year

I agree you have to check your options out. and if you are going to college you might want to double think everything. I know that I wouldn't want a high car payment and insurance. But on the other hand at you age I sure as hell would get the car that I wanted. What Im saying is think things though before you make a mistake. I hope that makes since. But Good luck

thanks again for all the suggestions guys its really been helping me out...i actually looked at a 02 GT today 70kmiles, nice black paint job, K&N intake, throttle body, and exhaust on it...they wanted $9900 for it...i was really tempted to get it, (it sounded so mean!) but i asked how much they would do a trade if for...Now i have a 01 V6 mustang 80kmiles on it...Its has a perfect paint job, perfect interior. And it has flowmaster. They said they would give me $3500 for it...is that about right....I really didnt try to bargin with him because im not looking to get a car at this very moment. I just wanted to see what he would say...
