Since Shelby Stangs are harder to find modified pictures of,
All Shelby owners should post pics here of any shelby modifications - Performance or Appearance.  Yours or any pics you can find.  Anything from Razors to new Blower Head Unit Upgrades to Signed Dash Plaques would be great.

I would love to see this too....because mine is currently bone stock.  I've only had it for a month, so that will change in the near future.

First on the list is exhaust, stock is just wimpy.  I'm going to go with FRPP (borla) stingers.  I also will be getting the rustproofing, paint protection, tint, shorty antenna in the short term.  Then a CAI/tune for an extra 100 or so hp

Here's something to get you started:

Exterior mods: CT-R GT40 wheels in black, Shelby convertible styling bar. Have a bunch of other small exterior mods also but those are the 2 you can see in this pic. I also have the new Venom hood at the body shop now and will post a pic next week with it on the car.

Engine Compartment: Ford GT supercar valve covers, JLT cold air intake, Custom tune by VMP Tuning, PFAB Reservoir, Canton Expansion Tank, Shelby billet engine caps and fuse box cover, Shelby hood struts and underhood & fender hardware kit.

Car also has Ford racing exhaust.

Nice work.  Thanks for starting us off right, mods all around the car.  I will post my stuff once the car shows up.  I am picking up some performance stuff from evo, a KR/SS type hood, and maybe adding some over the top stripes to finish off the hood lines.  It is probably getting lowered and hop stoping suspension parts, but ill keep the stock rims (unless i break down and get razors!) so i can fit some sticky tires on the back.  CANT WAIT TO POST PICS, in a month or more :(

Thanks guys.

Suspension is next. I'm waiting because Ford Racing is coming out with a handling pack that's convertible specific. When that comes out we'll do UCA, LCA & an adjustable panhard at the same time. FRPP says the pack should be availabe shortly. It's always tough to wait though. LOL

I just bought my 08 Shelby and I"m looking to throw a supercharger and other mods on it to get it as close as I can to the GT500.  :)  I'll post pictures when I get started.

I've done some research and I think i'm gonna keep the Shelby mods pretty simple and just go with some package deals.
-I am definitely looking for a new hood, KR or SS style.  Car will be red with black side stripes (vert) with no hood stripes.  Probably getting shelby lettering across hood as well.  And a Convertible light bar.
-SC upgrade as well.  Either cai/tune/pulley or the Ford Racing Supercharger with smaller pulley.
-gotta do a little handling pack as well, i dont know which one Steeda or Evo.  Probably Steeda though, the BMR stuff is more for drag racing and has a little more noise associated with it.
-Gonna definitely upgrade the rubber out back as well, since itll b a weekend warrior, maybe a nice street radial.

That will do it unless I get really into modding down the road.  After this i might see about razors and a 3.73 gear.

Hi. Here are some more mods for you:

Venom Hood, Painted Stripes & moved the Shelby lettering in the back of the car. We also did the 2.65 pulley swap from VMP Tuning and swapped out the 07 dampener for the 08 - Took off about 15 lbs of weight.

I'm interested in getting the following grille for my 08 Shelby.

The rep I spoke with from Shelby Performance Parts told me that I was going to have to fabricate my own brackets in order to make it attach to the housing since the grille and housing aren't made by the same company.

Has anybody added this grille to their Shelby with success?  If so, how did you do the brackets???
