Default '66 brake drum ?

Hello, are the front drums the same size as the rear drums for these cars?

Diameter yes, width no. The front brakes are wider than the rear. Why are you asking?

I need a wheel hub for my front right to use the scarebird disc brake swap I got and I saw one on ebay but it also comes with the drums. My rear drums one is all beat up and wasn't sure if I got them it would fit back there.

I'm confused, rear drums don't have hubs. If you are looking for a 4 lug mustang hub any local mustang shop should have a bunch of them. And no you can't use front drums on the back or back drums on the front.

Yes, I need the hub for the front to do a disc swap, but it is on ebay and comes with the drums, which I won't need up front. But it is a package deal and I wasn't sure if I could take those drums from the front and use them on the back. I hope that makes sense, but from your post I see that wont work.

4 lug hugs are a dime a dozen you should be able to find those locally.

If four lug front wheel hubs are a dime a dozen please show me where. I also have been looking for months. They rarely show up on ebay. New they are $70-$80.00 each. Not many junk yards in Colorado with old cars. I also want to do the scarebird disk brake upgrade on my 66, but want some donar hub. The hubs need some machine work to do the scarebird brakes. I want to keep all my original parts, if someone wants it to be original, it could be converted back.
Thanks, Lowell
