Ok... So can you explain the logic behind this statement and back it with any statistics that prove it's effectiveness?

Do you have any comparisons between this board and others that do not enforce this 50 post rule to show that the number of fraudulent or bad transactions occur less as a percentage on this board versus any other board?

There is a reason I challenge this requirement, I believe there is more idealism behind this restriction and less actual statistical data to back this up as a viable method of creating a more secure and safe method of transactions in the classified section here.

I will gladly retract my belief and fully support the restriction if there is actual data proving this restriction to help weed out those that would otherwise fraudulently sell bad or damaged parts or other items here.

Who cares if we dont have facts to bad this up. I assure you that there are plenty of people that come in here and for their first post on the forum try and sell stuff and rip people off. We remove the listing immediately and none of the noobs fall for it and get ripped off.

And also if you are looking to sell something, you better post elsewhere on the forum cause you arent going to get 50 posts by posting in this thread and then turn around and sell ****

Oh... no worries on posting else where my friend... I have been a prominent member of 3 other Mustang boards for the last 4 years and a few others that I have just recently joined.

YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 50 POST TO MAKE AN AD IN THE CLASSIFIEDS.

how hard is that to follow??? i will bump this thread daily

here is the rest of the rules also
1. Minimum post count of 50 to post in this section
2. Your ad must have pics ( how to post pics in your ad )
3. Your ad must have a location
4. state what year/s that part/s are for sale for
5. No feeler ads if your going to sell it, sell it
6. MUST have a price, if your unsure then put a price and then OBO
7. Mustang forums is not responsible for anything sold in this section. Mustang forums is not responsbile for any problems between the buyer and seller. so as always buyer beware

This site was not created to be used as a free "Auto Trader" to non-active members.
Any post made in this forum by a "non-active" member will be deleted and a warning will be given. Three warnings will result in a tenative site suspension.
The only people who will be allowed to post before they become an active member are those who have been approved by the Admins.

If you take a look in the 5.0L Tech forum here you will see that I have already contributed a good deal of posts for the time I have been registered with this site as mentioned earlier in this thread. I have also contributed in the ways of searching the classifieds and posting to threads because I am looking to make some purchases. You can also verify this by checking my inbox for a reply from mpbauman regarding a shifter boot and bezel.

Now in all honesty... The only reason I made any references in this thread at all was to add or contribute to this thread and forum in much the same way I have in the other forums. I simply try and join a healthy debate in this thread and add some reason for thought and then get attacked by the admins for doing so. This is the first time I have ever experienced this type of rude response from anyone on a car forum.

Here’s the kicker... I know SQL and .net and I was thinking of offering you guys help through my services with the web site in the means of building a few tables and queries to reference those tables depending on the request, I also build web pages on the side. This could easily be embedded through an asp page and some scripting to produce very organized and structured sections to this site. And yes, I saw the Vote thread for the restructuring of this forum, I also added my own bit of distasteful humor to it.

It's amazing how readily and easily you guys would treat someone poorly without even knowing the first thing about them.

I like to joke around with healthy banter just like the next guy... But you guys took it too far with some of these comments.

Would you choose to treat a cancer patient in this manor!? If not, how would you know that I wasn't one?

Again... The reason for ever commenting in this thread was to add healthy debate... Not to start World War III and cause strife with those who disagree.
