Any post made in this forum by a "non-active" member will be deleted and a warning will be given. Three warnings will result in a tenative site suspension.
The only people who will be allowed to post before they become an active member are those who have been approved by the Admins.
If you have questions feel free to PM myself or adminstration

Well Im sorry for not obeying the rules(maybe because I didnt read them) oopps sorry. Im on lonestarstangs,ccstreetscene, and modualr forums and had never came across a rule like this. I was just wanting to post the parts off my cobra for sale because I want them out of my face ASAP. lol My garage is too packed up with new parts. yippeee. Well again sorry ADMIN.

I still believe the best way to handle this problem is to hide or lock out the classifieds section from new users until they get to 50 posts. Not only do we have a problem with new members trying to sell parts, new members also make up the bulk of guys coming in here and complaining about prices and lowballing sellers.
If you don't contribute to this site you shouldnt be allowed into the classifieds section period

Damn thats a shame that it cant be done, it'd make your guys lives a lot easier. Well hopefully more new members will come in and actually read the rules before posting.

Bumping the requirement up to 100 post is not the answer. If it is true, as has been previously stated, it is not difficult to get 50 posts, then 100 posts will be twice as much as not difficult.
If the intent is to keep spammers out, 50 does the trick. Volume and using bots is the spammers game, going to the trouble to post 50 times takes time and direct human interaction, two things a spammer does not want to invest.
If the intent is to keep out unscrupulous sellers, close the site.

i'm new, but i'm a member on many different forums. personaly i like the 50 post rule. as long as its "to post an add" not reply to one.
if something is in the wanted section and i have it but dont have the 50 post. i can still answer the post right?
dont know how much i'll contribute since i'm new to fords let alone mustangs. lol but if ya'll have any ?'s about a sbc. i have some info. lol
