you should have gone froma rolling start. thats a much better compar-o of pure machine acceleration.

edit: just watched it, wtf... was that even an 1/8mile? LOL seriously it would have been different if you went for at least a full 1/4.

A rolling start is not a real race. Do you go from rolls on the track? I don't think so. Mustangs can take out SRT-4s. I have taken out many and my brother who actually has one knows stock for stock they are even. Don't me mad because we have real cars with real power and run real races, NOT ROLLS. Rolls belong in a bakery, not on the street.

Rolling start takes no skill, its just put the pedal to the floor. Pretty dumb. Least from a dig you gotta know how to launch and hit the shifts. and i think 60fts and 0-60s are much better judgeing pure machine acceleration then 50-100. And hey they dont let you back up and get a running start at the track

My point was that it’s a much better basis as to tell the performance difference between two different cars. Traction is one thing, straight acceleration is another.

My whole point was that it takes no skill. People are talking **** here, but the fact is the driver got beat. Unless you want to go find a better driver for the SRT4, the only way to call it a "fair" comparison between the two CARS, is to have a race from roll.

And this still doesnt say anything for the fact that his "race" was uber-short. Id be surprised if they even traveled a full 1/8 of a mile. Of course an NA RWD V8 car is going to beat a turbo FWD car off the line. Its common sense and basis physics... especially since this driver (in the Neon) sucked monkey nuts.
