Wow, damn nice kill. You punished that SRT-4 pretty good. I thought they were suppose to be fairly close in performance too, or was the driver of the SRT-4 still learning?

Again...damn nice run. Although...Need a bit of work on the shifting! Good job!

I've been wanting to run them for quite some time too, though I've never had the right opportunity. All the performance specs and things I have read say they are suppose to be pretty close to the same numbers in stock form. It's hard to judge how fast a car is when you don't know if the people driving them are good drivers or not.

I have only a few light mods to my '00 GT, and blew the doors off a 350 Z a few weeks ago. Still don't know if he missed a gear or just couldn't shift. Still waiting for the SRT4.

Doesn't the stock 350Z only put out 287 horses? Has anyone else run against one in a '99-04 GT?

yeah i think it does but he was a package where they do performance upgrades and they changed the whole exhaust system and a few other things so it put it up there.

He had a bad launch I think, I had a decent one, never looked back. I'm sure if he launched better it would have been much closer.

Lol man, go ask that in the 4.6 tech section, not the video section.

And not much more than stock. Exhaust/Intake dont add really much HP unless its heads/cam/intake/full exhaust, then your loooking at serious horsepower gains.

The SRT driver was horrible. CAI + injectors (stage 1) should put them into the mid 13's. They're about 14 flat stock.

you should have gone froma rolling start. thats a much better compar-o of pure machine acceleration.

edit: just watched it, wtf... was that even an 1/8mile? LOL seriously it would have been different if you went for at least a full 1/4.

i doubt it. the srt wasn't even pulling. he started pulling at the end when mrmustang turned on his hazzards and started laying off. i think a 1/4 mile he would have 0wnd him. like he said, the srt got a bad launch and it's his fault. if he got a good launch and went for the 1/4, he probably would have got him.

Nice- RWD V8 torque and you still got em' good off the line. I would have imagined that he would have puled on you at first and than you would have took him later.
