I would like the car to go low 10s, achievable with a whipple I know. I would enjoy saying I have a 10 second car on a STOCK blower. Ya know what I mean..........

with the power he's running and a nice little 100-150 shot... thats very easy to do with some tires of course, lol...
I could hit High 10's with some slicks and a 75 shot now....Then I would need a cage for sure. I dont think the boys down at the track would like to see me running 10s with no cage, Id get the DA BOOT

lol.. +1.. I'm in the same boat.. I"m looking at a cage myself for the mach.. not quite there yet on actually needing it, but I figure since it's gonna be a PITA to install I might as well get it over with. The new NHRA book says anything 10.99ET or more than 135mph has to have an approved roll cage, and under 11.5ET or 129mph you have to have a roll bar..

Well my goal was to get kicked off of the track lol
but, i would only do a cage on a car that was a non daily driver.. if you have another daily driver - go run it, see if you get booted... and if you do go save for a cage, lol.. I know that my track is kinda forgiving with that type of stuff... but without a cage going that fast anyway is a bit like playin russian roulette...
