who cares, he's a guy on TV doing car reviews and stuff. I personally like the show alot, and compared to everything else they get to drive even the GT is nothing to them, so I'm sure his opinion wouldn't change even if it was the GT.
the only thing that ford makes that he likes is the GT. He owns one although he lives far enough away that he has to get gas in it for a one way trip. They have always hated the mustang, and rarely had their facts straight....
Thruthfully said. I really have a problem listening to people like Clarkson inform me about somethin that they're totally ignorant of. This guy should not have the right to have a show. Especially when he cant even tell the difference between two models if cars.

i think Top Gear is a very informative show but after that... ouch... he cant even tell the difference between the GT v8 and the Standard V6 models....
just curious but in the video he mentioned it to be a "V8" (i believe) with "300 horses". However everything apperance wise about that car said V6. So was he driving a V6 or GT?
He's definitely wrong about that review... But I personally like the show. Their reviews are way too different and great compare to other car review shows...
I like the show, though I think he had a phukin retard moment there. But the part I disagree with the most is the time it took him to go around the track. I think it could have been done faster in a wheelchair. Where did he learn to drive?

sxynerd I saw that episode too ! He hates the Mustang GT also. However - he does like the GT500. I saw them test drive that one and they definately liked it.
MORBID - in that video he said "NOT A VERY GOOD CAR" but rated it "COOL". That was also in an earlier dated review, (old studio). I also did watch the same episode as SxyNerd where he bashed that GT big time, (more receint video - in the new studio). They did love the GT500 though. I am still abig fan of the show, (DVR every episode). Those guys are funny and they DRIFT every car they test drive. BUT I am an even BIGGER FAN of my Mustang GT - because I do have my own opinion, (which I'm sure you feel the same as I do).
I can see why they bash american cars. They are more into the sophisticated, high tech, and luxury types. The mustang is about bang-for-the-buck, and brute force.(Not sure if it's more expensive over there? Which would hurt the appeal of the mustang) They are used to cars with higher quality than american cars(I.E. Higher price) I personally agree with them about cheap plastic interiors....BUT I don't want to pay for higher quality materials. So, cheap plastic works for me.
It seems they prefer their horsepower on a silver platter with crumpets and tea. I prefer my horsepower cheap and beast-like. Two different mind-sets, like apples & oranges. They especially like to poke at the solid rear axle.(Hey, it does it's job, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The S197 Solid rears are actually pretty good for a live axle) The simple, basic design of the mustang is part of it's character and charm. It makes no excuses, it doesn't apologize for being rough. It just goes fast. It's a man's car. It's not supposed to be civil.
Although, I seem to remember them complimenting the power on the GT, and GT500. They can say what they want to about the handling, ride, etc. But when they stand on the gas, they can't help but to smile. Thus, the attraction to the mustang.
I wouldn't call the Top Gear guys tools, as much as I would call them jaded.(As for the V6/GT mixup.... hey, everyone makes mistakes. It's not like they can tell the difference between different mustangs)
